The UNESCO Award of Excellence for Handicrafts has been granted to 15 artisans from a total 70 entries in South East Asia!

The high standard of entries kept an international evaluation panel of experts in design, marketing and handicraft production busy for two days at the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand in Ayutthaya.
The range of submissions was highly diverse, including traditionally woven textiles and fibres, metal work, carvings and ceramics. The products originated from Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines and Thailand.
The high standard of entries kept an international evaluation panel of experts in design, marketing and handicraft production busy for two days at the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand in Ayutthaya.

AHPADA, THTA และ AMARIN เชิญชวนช่วยผู้ประสบภัยในพม่า
สมาคมส่งเสริมและพัฒนาหัตถกรรมอาเซียน (AHPADA) และสมาคมการค้าส่งเสริมหัตถกรรมไทย (THTA) ร่วมกับศูนย์การค้าอัมรินทร์ พลาซ่า เป็นแกนนำในการจัดงานช่วยผู้ประสบภัยพิบัติจากพายุไซโคลนนาร์กีส ประเทศพม่า ระหว่างวันที่ 13-14 มิถุนายน 2551 ณ ชั้น 1 ศูนย์การค้าอัมรินทร์ พลาซ่า สี่แยกราชประสงค์ เชิญชมและสนับสนุนสินค้าหัตถกรรมจากประเทศพม่า และสินค้าหัตถกรรมไทยที่นำมาช่วยผู้ประสบภัยดังกล่าว
นอกจากนี้ สมาคมฯขอเชิญบริจาคเงินช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยพายุไซโคลนนาร์กีส โดยผู้ประสงค์จะบริจาคเงินช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัย สามารถติดต่อบริจาคได้ที่สมาคมฯ ห้อง Art for Life Education Center ชั้น 5 ศูนย์การค้าอัมรินทร์ พลาซ่า เบอร์โทร 02- 6125900 ต่อ5812 หรือ 081-6587542
